A Citizen’s Guide to the NEPA: Having Your Voice Heard
A Citizen’s Guide to the NEPA has been developed to help citizens and organizations who are concerned about the environmental effects of federal decisionmaking to effectively participate in Federal agencies’ environmental reviews under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Even though we have not yet begun the NEPA phase, this study embraces the NEPA process because we believe that the public, stakeholders and interested parties need to be involved in and should have the opportunity to influence the transportation planning, design and construction process.
